Change

Life is changing in every moment. While this is something we can understand in theory, It may be a bit more difficult to grasp in terms of our personal evolvement. If we, along with life, change from moment-to-moment, how do we keep track of who we are? The thought alone can feel like chaos.

Sharing from my personal experience, evolving at a rate where constant change is felt, can be somewhat disorienting. But, it has revealed to me that at my core, there is something that goes undisturbed by the changes at the surface of my life. This undisturbed pattern within myself is what every change organizes around, meaning that all changes in my life are directly influenced by a solid core within me.

To understand more deeply, let’s consider that the world changes from moment-to-moment. We can sustain these changes because, at the core, the world maintains a rhythm that we can organize ourselves around. The sun rises and falls each day and the planets orbit each other within an orderly system – helping us sustain and produce life.

Like the day’s, we change – and when we are evolving at an accelerated rate, it can feel like chaos. But, like the day organizes all changes around an order that supports us, we also have a core helping to choreograph our evolvement. Knowing this means that within all the changes, the part of us that matters the most in life, is the very thing influencing every change.
