In theory, we can learn about the world. Through experience, we can unlearn our theories.
A theory describes what is supposed to happen or what could be possible; it is designed to explain something through a framework of ideas.
What we know in theory is at most a speculation of good ideas. What we know through experience is at least an encounter with possibilities.
We can theorize about the world we want, or we can experience the world that is. In theory, that is a choice everyone gets to make.
