I see you

What they don’t tell you is that after having a baby you will start to see the “baby” version of everyone else. Yes, this does include grown adults, and even that person who annoys you.

There is nothing my baby boy, Kai, can do to prevent me from seeing him. The real him. The little boy who amazes me every day. He is an open invitation for joy. He is curious beyond practicality. He expects to be completely satisfied. And, he is abundant, despite being unemployed.

His well-being appears to be assured by some divine order. And after being his mom for four months now, I am convinced that every person was born into the good fortune of being an exceptional human-being. At least … This is how I see you.
