Censorship

Censorship is the official suppression of the unacceptable parts of something. Making something unacceptable, grants it the permission to be censored.

When we censor, we don’t have to address our lack of understanding. When we censor, we don’t have to acknowledge the unacceptable parts.

The ones who censor, benefit from the silence. The unacceptable parts, want to be heard.

Whether we accept it or not, the censored will eventually have a voice. And the ones who have benefited from the silence, will react unacceptably, when their time to suppress has expired.
