I didn’t need beef to enjoy the most delicious hamburger. On a good day, I didn’t even need meat.
As a child, I could imagine nearly anything to the point where it felt like I actually had it. Often, I generated just as much enjoyment from imagining something, as I would if it were in my physical possession.
I used to think that what I lacked in materials and access during my childhood created a deficiency in my world. Now, I recognize the abundance produced through the focus of the imagination, and understand that anything ever wanted, can be everything ever imagined.
