Swimming

It’s when I have nothing left.

It’s after I’ve tried everything possible.

It’s while I am consumed by exhaustion.

It’s during the moments I ache for relief.

It’s the point where surrender, is the only thing I have the energy to surrender to.

That’s when I become clear about the direction of the tide, and certain that it’s difficult making progress, while swimming against it.
