We can relax in environments and situations that are familiar. The more time we spend with something, the more familiar we become.
We can have a level of familiarity with things that are good for us. But, our level of familiarity does not indicate that something is good.
We have habits, practiced ways of being and people in our lives that are familiar. Familiarity creates intimate bonds, that are difficult to break.
It’s good to check-in with ourselves to understand; are we doing something because it’s what we want to do, or are we attracted to it because it’s familiar?
